and if you're that person i'm sorry but damnit,
you don't own this website! so there!
and now back to our regularly scheduled post....

ever since i heard the postal service album (even the dntel stuff) i've been totally inspired with the sound & style of music.
so anyways rather than babble on and on, i make electronic music.. its not great, im just a stupid guy who makes music in his bedroom for the sake of making music..
but i was interested in getting some postal service fans opinions on some of the new tracks i've put up.
i'm not saying i sound like postal service, i'm just saying i dunno theres a big influence in the music.. especially in the sound..
the main synth i use, has alot of sounds similar in tone to what was on the postal service album. at least to me..
ok well i'm shutting up now, my website is
http://www.tonematrix.com
the 3 latest tracks are (katonah, little saints, and the parallel)
any feedback is welcome, even if u want to bash my head in with a brick, its all good.. although i may throw the brick back at u (after i get out of the coma)

thanks,
eric (eagerly awaiting a new ps album!! get to it guys!)

Some of you may know that the U.S. postal service almost took legal action on the Postal Service for using their name.... here is the outcome (from the New York Times on 4 November)...

"The outcome was as unusual as the band itself: this week the United States Postal Service - the real one, as in stamps and letters - signed an agreement with Sub Pop granting a free license to use the name in exchange for working to promote using the mail. Future copies of the album and the group's follow-up work will have a notice about the trademark, while the federal Postal Service will sell the band's CD's on its Web site, potentially earning a profit. The band may do some television commercials for the post office.

The group also agreed to perform at the postmaster general's annual National Executive Conference in Washington on Nov. 17. The attendees might not realize what a rare treat they are in for since the Postal Service does not play many gigs. Mr. Tamborello and Mr. Gibbard are busy with their regular bands: Dntel, with its atmospheric electronic dance music, and Death Cab for Cutie, which has become a college rock favorite for its heartfelt, jangly punk rock known as emo."

Although, most reviews are comparing them to The Postal Service, I find them to be even more in line with The Notwist’s latest efforts. The Go Find’s 2 most charming pieces from their 10 track full length, Miami, are remixed on a 4 track CDS entitled Over The Edge vs What I Want. These 2 discs are the perfect compliment to The Notwist’s Neon Golden and Different Cars & Trains.
